Job Summary

Smith Turf & Irrigation LLC is seeking a skilled Turf Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our turf division, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial-grade equipment used in the golf, sports field, and grounds industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance on turf equipment, including oil changes, hydraulic fluid checks, and filter replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic issues on a variety of commercial turf equipment, including Toro and Ventrac.
  • Document issues and provide clear, concise reports on cause for failure and correction.
  • Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment serviced.
  • Participate in company-sponsored training to develop skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' mechanical experience with diesel engines.
  • Experience in the commercial turf industry is a plus.
  • Ability to read and analyze documents and procedure manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
