Technical Program Manager for Real-Time Data Capture

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

Responsibilities
  • Track progress, communicate updates, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Identify and address risks to keep projects on track.
  • Evaluate project goals and share insights across the organization.
  • Gather requirements, analyze software needs, and research industry trends.
  • Create a framework for strategy development.
  • Consider hardware needs (IoT, mobile, etc.).
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment for a shared road-map.
  • Establish governance for real-time data capture work streams.
  • Manage change with diverse stakeholders.
  • Evaluate new ideas and conduct proof of concepts to address issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field in Computer Vision for data centers, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or technical project management.
  • 2 years of experience with implementation of Computer Vision in real-time data capture systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of machine learning.
  • Strong program management skills with successful project delivery and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
