Job Title: Technical Program Manager, Data Defense

As a Technical Program Manager, Data Defense, you'll play a critical role in driving the end-to-end delivery and ongoing operations of highly technical projects that enable cross-functional security and privacy at TikTok.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement technical strategies for Content Assurance and Data Defense programs, ensuring alignment with organizational Information Security standards and business requirements.
  • Deliver operational security services, including program management, vendor management, policy and compliance management, data discovery scanning activities, and remediation.
  • Provide executive leadership communications and reporting, ensuring clear and effective communication of the organization's security posture and significant risks/issues.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and workstream coordination across disciplines and regions, presenting complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Plan and track project execution, assembling and directing integrated teams with the necessary skills for successful delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Significant program development experience in AI/ML, Security Operations, Governance Risk and Compliance, Data Security/Protection, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
  • Proven ownership and accountability in driving and overseeing multiple complex technical programs from initiation to delivery at scale.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and lead multiple teams with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones.
  • Detailed analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems and datasets.
  • Capacity to demonstrate critical thinking and thought leadership, and adapt to fast-paced work environments with rapidly shifting landscapes and priorities.
