Job Title: Payroll Manager Job Summary: Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team. As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, and monitoring employee performance. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement reporting procedures and internal controls to ensure data accuracy and compliance * Ensure payroll-related data is accurate and up-to-date * Monitor employee performance to achieve departmental objectives * Develop and implement new policies and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements * Implement assigned programs and/or projects to conform to administrative, state, and federal requirements * Inspect payroll activity to ensure allocations are accurate and fiscal practices are followed * Prepare written materials, such as reports and memos, to document activities and convey information * Supervise assigned staff to ensure standards are achieved and performance is maximized Requirements and Qualifications: * Minimum of 8 years of payroll experience and 3+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity * Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and follow-through to resolve outstanding issues * Strong time management skills and ability to effectively act as a lead and work as a team member * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal payroll and related tax laws, regulations, and skill in preparing detailed reports What We Offer: * Competitive salary range of $75-90k * Opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company * Collaborative and supportive work environment Equal Opportunity Employer: Vaco is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, status as a veteran, union membership, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, political affiliation, or any other protected characteristics as required by federal, state, or local law.
