Job Title: General Motors Certified Automotive Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled automotive instructor to join our team at Ranken Technical College. As an instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students in a live work setting, including shop safety, and assisting in the maintenance of lab and classroom equipment.

Estimated Salary Range

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing instructional plans.
  • Instructing students in automotive repair and maintenance techniques.
  • Evaluating student progress and providing feedback.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of lab and classroom equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master ASE Certification.
  • L1 Advanced Certification.
  • General Motors World Class Certification.
  • Experience working with transmissions.
  • Teaching experience preferred but will train.
  • Ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literate in MS Office.
