New York, United States CAMBA Full time
Job Overview

About Us: CAMBA is a collaborative network of staff, volunteers, clients, donors, neighbors, and partners dedicated to fostering an inclusive New York City. Our mission is to ensure that all individuals and families have access to essential resources and support systems necessary for their well-being. We provide over 180 integrated programs across various sectors, including Education & Youth Development, Family Support, Employment Services, Health, Housing, and Legal Assistance. Our outreach extends to more than 73,000 individuals and families, with a significant focus on youth and marginalized communities. A majority of our clients are immigrants and refugees, and over 85% of the families we serve are living in poverty, reflecting the challenges faced by many New Yorkers today.

Citywide Scattered Site Housing Initiative: This program offers 48 scattered site housing units for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness and dealing with serious and persistent mental health issues. The housing units are strategically located throughout the city. Our case management team is dedicated to eliminating barriers to housing stability by ensuring that clients' fundamental needs are met and that they are connected to essential services, including mental health and substance use support. The operational aspect of the program ensures that housing units comply with habitability standards through collaboration with landlords and property management to address significant repairs and maintain unit readiness for new tenants. Clients contribute 30% of their income towards rent.
