About the Role

Penn State Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you can utilize your skills and experience to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing Patient Needs: Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop personalized care plans that cater to their unique requirements.
  • Nursing Care Planning: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create comprehensive nursing care plans that address patients' medical needs and promote optimal outcomes.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Licensure and Certification: Must be currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or hold a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Education and Training: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred, but not required.
  • CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory prior to completing orientation.
