Blood Collection Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Blood Collection Staff to join our team at the American Red Cross. As a Blood Collection Staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient collection of blood donations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our team to transport and set up equipment at collection sites in local communities.
- Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for volunteer donors.
- Follow all safety procedures while collecting lifesaving blood donations.
- Utilize your healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with every step of the blood collection process.
- Paid phlebotomy training with the ability to grow your healthcare skills and career within the nation's top humanitarian organization.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
- A current, valid driver's license with good driving record is required.
- Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.).
- Prior leadership experience.
