Job Description

Fluor is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for planning and executing construction support activities on Fluor projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution: Implement and execute construction support activities on Fluor projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of other construction support personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to complex problems, in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.
  • Task Management: Organize and prioritize a variety of assignments and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study.
  • Experience: Fourteen (14) years of work-related experience in construction support or a related field.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to, coworkers, management, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  • Knowledge: Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job, including a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills: Ability to speak/read multiple languages.
  • Problem-Solving: Possess problem-solving, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Construction Knowledge: Through understanding of construction operations and support functions.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations.
