Job Title: Construction Discipline Engineer

Job Summary:

ProSidian Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Construction Discipline Engineer to join our team. As a Construction Discipline Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical oversight and support to field construction activities within a specified discipline. This includes planning, procurement, fabrication, installation, modification, and maintenance of systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with design agencies to ensure timely issuance of new design or design changes.
  • Review designs for constructability and resolve design problems encountered in the field during construction.
  • Inspect and verify materials, equipment, and construction workmanship to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and code requirements.
  • Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure the installation meets the requirements.
  • Participate in turnover activities and support start-up and functional check-out of equipment and systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a specified discipline of engineering and at least 5 years of practical experience in construction field engineering.
  • Working knowledge of discipline-specific codes and standards.
  • Previous experience with generating work execution plans and job hazards analysis.
  • Proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
