Peer Support Specialist

We're seeking a compassionate Certified Peer Support Specialist to provide guidance and support to individuals in their recovery journey.
Earning $17.50 hourly, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Transportation: Provide safe transportation for clients to their appointments as needed.
- Group Facilitation: Lead recovery-based group activities to foster client engagement and growth.
- Assessment: Evaluate and assess factors hindering clients' ability to live independently or integrate into the community.
- Communication Skills Development: Address and improve communication skills in individuals to enhance their interactions.
- Symptom Management: Implement effective strategies to help clients manage their symptoms.
- Social Support Development: Assist individuals in developing and strengthening their social support systems.
- Skills Adaptation: Help clients adapt skills for various life domains, including home, work, education, leisure, and social activities.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate crisis intervention when necessary to ensure client safety and well-being.
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Driver's License & Insurance: Possess a current driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance coverage.
- HIPAA Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Certification: Hold a valid Peer Support certification from the state.
