About the Role
">Job Description">The Event Services Director will be responsible for overseeing the entire banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution of events and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires a true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a fast-paced environment, with strong organization skills and proficiency in general computer knowledge.
">Key Responsibilities:
">Managing Banquet Operations
">- ">
- Determine supply needs for the department, including tables, chairs, and props, while adhering to established sanitation levels and maintaining equipment.">
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations related to events, understanding the impact on overall success and managing activities to maximize customer satisfaction.">
- Schedule Event Services staff to forecast and service standards, while maximizing profits and assisting team members in developing lasting relationships with groups to retain business and increase growth.">
- Maintain consistent standards for all event spaces, conducting event space inspections prior to each function to verify the room is set according to specifications.">
Participating in and Leading Banquet Teams

- Set goals and delegate tasks to improve departmental performance, conducting quarterly department meetings with the Banquet team.">
- Apply and continually broaden knowledge of food and wine pairings and cuisine with emphasis on current event trends, acting as a liaison to the culinary team and Catering and Sales Manager.">
- Lead shifts and actively participate in the servicing of events, interacting with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.">
Executing Event Services Operations and Maintaining Inventories

- Attend pre-event meetings as needed to understand group needs, establishing clear communication with the group contact throughout the event.">
- Verify event spaces are set according to event documentation (Banquet Event Orders, resumes, etc.) and customer requirements, resolving issues and/or suggesting alternatives to previous arrangements if necessary.">
- Responsible for leading teams and working events alongside staff, covering F&B outlets in periods where no events are scheduled, and serving as one of the leaders of the F&B Division.">
Ensuring and Providing Exceptional Customer Service

- Set a positive example for guest relations, striving to improve service performance and emphasizing guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings.">
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels, responding to and handling guest problems and complaints.">
- Encourage employees to provide excellent customer service, ensuring they understand expectations and parameters.">

The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, based on location and experience.
