We are seeking a seasoned Banquet Manager to join our team, overseeing the planning and execution of exceptional events at our luxurious resort in Connecticut. As a key member of our Food and Beverage division, you will be responsible for delivering unparalleled service and creating unforgettable experiences for our discerning guests.

About Us:

Mayflower Inn and Spa is a 58-acre country retreat nestled in the picturesque town of Washington, just two hours from New York City. Our boutique hotel is renowned for its luxurious hideaways, beautiful gardens, and world-class amenities.

Your Role:

  • Direct Event Operations: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of banquets, weddings, and corporate events, ensuring seamless delivery of exceptional service and attention to detail.
  • Lead a High-Performing Team: Motivate and train your team to deliver outstanding results, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with Sales, Catering, and Culinary teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the event planning process.
  • Manage Departmental Inventory and Maintenance: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage equipment, and oversee routine maintenance to ensure optimal event operations.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Set the tone for exceptional guest experiences by delivering prompt, professional, and courteous service.

Requirements:

  • Hotel Experience: Proven track record in Food and Beverage or Rooms management, preferably with experience in banquet services.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and train staff, foster a positive work environment, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as well as adapt to changing circumstances.

Compensation and Benefits:
