Position Summary
The Sales Manager is tasked with supervising the activities and performance of their designated sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and overall organizational goals. This role involves providing daily coaching, ongoing mentorship, development, and training to enhance the performance of the sales team.
The Sales Manager will adopt and master various technologies that facilitate optimal connections with our customers. They will be responsible for communicating and tracking monthly objectives with their team to foster consistent and ongoing performance. This role is a crucial component of the Sales Leadership Team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team through continuous coaching, goal setting, performance evaluation, and product knowledge training.
- Establish individual sales targets, analyze performance metrics, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as necessary for team success.
- Evaluate current team processes, identify areas for enhancement, and implement improvements for sustained success.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective execution of sales and marketing strategies.
- Monitor and analyze sales statistics based on critical quantitative metrics.
- Provide accurate reports on sales activities and forecasts to senior sales management.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create a powerful sales engine.
- Introduce new product initiatives and rollouts to the team, understanding customer relations with our offerings.
- Develop and implement innovative sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to enhance key performance indicators.
- Lead the responsible adoption of technology and AI to better connect with and serve our customers and staff.
- Continuously refine sales scripts and methodologies to boost performance.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging markets to ensure our offerings remain competitive.
- In partnership with senior management, cultivate an appropriate culture within the sales team.
- Support and uphold sales department policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
- Evaluate individual performance through observation and metrics, collaborating with HR for necessary corrective actions.
- Ensure the confidentiality and protection of the company's trade secrets and client information.
Staff Management
Oversee and develop a team of 20-30 remote and/or on-site sales representatives, including the establishment and documentation of goals and performance management.
Travel Requirements
Willingness to travel domestically as needed, approximately 10-15% of the time.
Additional Responsibilities
- Contribute as a member of the Sales Leadership Team and provide support as necessary.
- Maintain flexibility in work hours to accommodate business needs.
- Actively contribute to the overall success of the company through regular involvement in management activities.
- Participate in and lead inter-departmental meetings, projects, and informal initiatives.

Educational Background
· Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.
Experience and Qualifications
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Sales Management.
· Proven experience in leading, coaching, and managing sales teams to achieve exceptional results.
· Previous experience in call center management is essential.
· Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and guide them to success.
· Capability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong engagement and communication skills.
· A history of problem-solving and a willingness to explore new ideas and concepts.
· Ability to collaborate with other departments to resolve conflicts and achieve positive outcomes.
· Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
· Proficient technical skills, including computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Analytics) and CRM software.
