The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for providing exceptional service to every guest while maximizing hotel profitability. This includes directing and coordinating the activities of the front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of the front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security, and maintenance
  • Maximize ADR and Occupancy
  • Coordinate communications between Sales and Operating departments
  • Motivate, coach, and train department supervisors
  • Understand financial statements and budgets, including staffing guidelines
  • Control department head scheduling, expense management, and implement cost-saving strategies
  • Guide, develop, and implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve business operations
  • Manage all aspects of the safety program, including training, reporting, and incentives
  • Maintain a cooperative and positive work environment
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of supervisory hotel operations experience
  • Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt
  • Knowledgeable in financial statements and budgets, including staffing guidelines
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service results as measured through guest satisfaction
  • Excellent at developing and implementing policies, procedures, and systems to improve business operations
  • Able to embrace property safety programs, including training, reporting, and incentives
  • Display initiative, perseverance, and analytical skills
