SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION

The Executive Director plays a pivotal role within the Administrative District Team of Leman Academy of Excellence (LAE), providing essential leadership and direction for the school district, its families, and scholars. This position serves as an educational shepherd-leader, guiding site leadership and administration across all Leman Academy campuses, ensuring alignment with the School Board's approved mission, philosophy, guiding principles, policies, and budgetary commitments.

Line of Authority/Reports to: The Executive Director is directly accountable to the CEO of Leman Academy of Excellence.

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Education; Educational Leadership preferred
  • Arizona Principal Certification
  • Minimum of five years in leadership roles (including Principal positions) and five years of teaching experience
  • AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card / Background and Criminal History Clearance
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Preferred Arizona Administrative Certification
  • Demonstrated leadership skills promoting collaborative decision-making
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to positively engage with the community, parents, scholars, administrators, faculty, and staff
  • Strong commitment to excellence in education
  • Knowledge of learning theory, instructional methodology, curriculum development, and teacher evaluation
  • Understanding of school finances and operational budgeting
  • Ability to manage conflict resolution with humility and service
  • Familiarity with Classical curricula and educational philosophies
  • Knowledge of Arizona State and College and Career Readiness Standards
  • Proficiency in computer applications relevant to educational administration
  • Understanding of Data-Driven Instruction
