Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial operations of our Sierra Tucson facility, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the achievement of our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the preparation and submission of accurate and timely financial statements, including the monthly operating report and corporate disclosures.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance to support business decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Supervise and direct the accounting, patient accounting, health information management, and materials management departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Group Purchasing contracts and monitor purchases to ensure supply costs are kept to budgeted levels.
  • Prepare annual operating and capital budgets, and participate in the annual strategic planning process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a business-related field with a major in Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of successful CFO experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a behavioral healthcare environment.
  • Previous experience with a proprietary healthcare system is highly desirable.
  • CPA or Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven financial analysis skills, with experience working with information technology and proficiency in software packages including Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and solve problems, with a high degree of emotional intelligence and ethics.
