The Role

The HR Operations Specialist will be responsible for optimizing HR operations and delivering an exceptional onboarding experience for new hires.

This role will focus on managing the entire onboarding process, including pre-arrival preparations, background checks, and first-day readiness, ensuring that new hires feel welcomed, informed, and supported from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Own the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  2. Keep onboarding materials accurate and current, including new hire/manager guides and welcome kits.
  3. Gather feedback from new hires and managers to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
  4. Collaborate with department heads to ensure new employees have the necessary tools, resources, and training.
  5. Identify process improvement opportunities and update onboarding documents, checklists, and other relevant materials.
  6. Support new hires throughout the onboarding process, answering questions and addressing concerns.
  7. Ensure compliance with all legal and organizational requirements during the offer and onboarding process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in human resources, organizational development, business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of related experience in human resources operations, employee engagement, or a similar role.
  • Experience with HR systems, employee feedback tools, engagement platforms, and HR information systems.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in creating and analyzing reports and dashboards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization.
