The Financial Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the fiscal activities of our esteemed hospitality establishment, which includes both lodging and gaming services. Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring precise and timely reporting of financial performance, including variance analysis and budget forecasting.
  • Accounting Operations: Supervise daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of all financial transactions.
  • Compliance and Controls: Aid in maintaining compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls, while implementing and monitoring procedures to protect company assets and prevent fraud.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial analysis and insights, and assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and financial projections.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA or CMA designation preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance is required, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Experience in the casino or hospitality industry is highly desirable.

Applicants should demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, along with proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
