This role as a Construction Project Supervisor will oversee various federal JOC/IDIQ initiatives, ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily construction operations to guarantee that project deadlines and overall completion timelines are achieved.
  • Analyze blueprints, client requirements, and contractor proposals to facilitate accurate bidding processes.
  • Direct the team in project planning and site logistics development.
  • Supervise subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Employ effective time management strategies to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Maintain comprehensive daily and weekly logs of work activities.
  • Coordinate and manage all construction operations.
  • Engage directly with stakeholders and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Ensure appropriate signage is displayed at the construction site and that safety measures are implemented.

Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction supervisor with a commercial general contractor.
  • Experience with both ground-up and tenant improvement projects in the federal sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale construction projects and managing extensive teams.
  • Experience in healthcare-related projects is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage job sites.
  • Solid understanding of field construction practices, safety protocols, and general engineering principles, along with knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and sequencing.
  • Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders, including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
