At Dragonfly Pond Works, we are a leading environmental services company specializing in stormwater management. Our team has been providing routine maintenance and repairs on stormwater devices, lakes, ponds, wetlands, and underground facilities since 2006. The core purpose of this position is to ensure that our clients receive the highest standard of quality service while maximizing the efficiency and productivity of assigned crew members operating in the field. This role is integral to the smooth and profitable execution of work performed by Dragonfly Pond Works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report to the Branch Manager.
  • Manage crews, including on-site guidance and fieldwork as needed.
  • Conduct pre-construction site walks.
  • Coordinate equipment and materials for crews.
  • Assist the sales team with estimating needs for upcoming projects.
  • Conduct field training for all new and existing employees.
  • Handle administrative duties related to staff management.
  • Maintain continuous communication with the Sales team and clients.
  • Acquire and maintain current certifications as required.
  • Identify and implement safety training for field staff.
Requirements
  • Previous field experience in construction, landscaping, or lake/pond maintenance.
  • Proven managerial capabilities.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with multiple audiences, including the Operations Team, Sales team, subcontractors, vendors, and others.
  • Ability to adapt and improvise quickly in response to changing conditions or unknown factors.
  • Capability to work under pressure.
  • Good teamwork.
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Aptitude to work outside for long periods of time in unfavorable conditions.
