EXECUTIVE PROTECTION - SECURITY DRIVER
Position Overview

The Executive Protection Agent (II) is responsible for delivering comprehensive security services, including physical safeguarding, secure transportation, and overall welfare for clients. This role will operate within a specified geographic area and will play a vital part in the security team's client engagement, primarily focusing on daily transportation needs. Responsibilities will include local area assessments, transportation logistics, and providing protective measures during events, appointments, and office settings. We are seeking one (1) full-time agent and one (1) part-time agent for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver close protection and related security services for clients during both domestic and international assignments.
  • Conduct local area reconnaissance to evaluate departures, arrivals, movements, routes, and emergency protocols, identifying potential threats during travel.
  • Operate effectively in diverse professional settings to ensure safety protocols and security measures are properly implemented for the client and those around them.
  • Safely transport clients or their family members to various events and appointments.
  • Manage family members to uphold safety and security standards.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide essential first aid as needed.
  • De-escalate potentially volatile situations that may arise during missions.
  • Promptly communicate any vulnerabilities or safety concerns.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and management through incident reports and other necessary documentation.
  • Assist in scheduling protection assignments and team coordination.
  • Utilize and maintain protective, operational, and communication equipment, including vehicles.
  • Identify and report any deficiencies or failures in operations.
  • Prepare mission plans and ensure timely submission of all required reports, including expense and closure reports.
  • Support intelligence gathering and other duties within the Command Post.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
  • Basic training and experience in defensive driving tactics.
  • Proven ability to build relationships during assignments.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working with children and ensuring protection in family settings.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in executive protection, including advanced planning, surveillance, counter-surveillance, and security driving; international experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree is desirable.
  • Basic first aid training, AED; CPR certification is preferred.
  • Possession of California BSIS Security Guard Permit.
  • California BSIS Security Exposed Weapons Permit.
  • California Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW).
  • Training and experience in defensive driving as an executive driver.
  • Familiarity with the San Francisco and East Bay Area.
Work Schedule and Type
  • Regular Full-Time (RFT) and Regular Part-Time (RPT) positions available.
  • Monday to Friday, 12-hour shifts.
  • Availability for 24/7 client support while on duty.
  • Potential for domestic and international travel.
  • Flexible scheduling may be required.
Compensation
Annual salary range of $145K - $155K, with an hourly rate of $45.00.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This role requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions. Key demands include:
  • Exposure to high-stress situations, including challenging individuals or unauthorized areas.
  • Ability to make rapid and effective decisions during emergencies.
  • Work in environments that necessitate carrying authorized weapons and using protective gear.
  • Engagement in physical activities and outdoor events with individuals of all ages.
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Regular use of computers.
  • Ability to adjust focus for close and distance vision.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, including climbing stairs and navigating uneven terrain.
  • Occasional performance of physically demanding tasks as needed.
  • Availability for 24/7 client support while on duty.
