Position Summary:
As an Unarmed Security Specialist, you will be an essential member of a security team dedicated to safeguarding critical facilities and infrastructure, as well as public venues requiring enhanced security presence and asset protection services. This role is vital to the diverse range of specialized security offerings that Inter-Con provides to its clients daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor designated posts (e.g., customer service areas, employee entrances, vehicle access points, guard stations, parking lots, and perimeter areas).
- Conduct regular patrols, either on foot or in a vehicle, around property boundaries, gates, buildings, and storage facilities.
- Identify potential fire hazards, unauthorized activities, malfunctioning utilities, and hazardous conditions.
- Perform additional tasks related to the security of the premises as necessary.
- May be required to execute emergency duties that necessitate physical effort, such as standing or walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 lbs., and running.
- Possess reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of fulfilling the assigned duties.
- Meet all applicable licensing, registration, and certification requirements in the relevant state.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Security Guard Registration Card is mandatory.
