Job Summary

Security Industry Specialists is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, their associates, and facility personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, their associates, and facility personnel
  • Patrol assigned post on foot to maintain visibility and observe potential security threats
  • Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger clients, their associates, or public safety
  • Ensure daily administrative documentation is kept concise and complete at all times
  • Respond to requests for assistance from supervisors or clients and complete various company or client assignments as required
  • Investigate security-related accidents/incidents, interview witnesses, and gather physical evidence for future use
  • Ensure all employees, suppliers, and visitors on company property have proper company-issued identification
  • Responsible for crowd control and assisting law enforcement officials during emergency situations
Requirements
  • High School diploma (or equivalent) required
  • Guard card preferred; prior military and POST graduates welcome to apply
  • Basic computer and report writing skills
