Lead Product Strategist

We are in search of a Senior Product Manager to enhance the MCCi team. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to shape and execute product strategy, ensuring successful market introduction of our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform established business strategies into actionable product strategies.
  • Oversee the complete product roadmap for our intellectual property software solutions.
  • Facilitate product strategy meetings and implement the defined product direction.
  • Balance product feature prioritization with business requirements and technical feasibility, participating in technical discussions to inform design decisions.
  • Work alongside business stakeholders to curate and sustain a product backlog that reflects business value and priority.
  • Draft comprehensive feature and technical specifications for products.
  • Act as the representative for customer and business interests, possessing a deep understanding of the customer journey.
  • Drive organizational efforts to successfully launch products.
  • Plan and execute product launch initiatives.
  • Manage product pricing, profitability, and overall commercial success, taking ownership of the business unit.
  • Provide stakeholders with insights regarding product performance and market trends.
  • Assist marketing teams with insights on product differentiators and messaging strategies.
  • Oversee all facets of our IP software products, including gathering customer feedback, defining requirements, and managing communication.
  • Clearly articulate the product vision.
  • Lead the planning of product releases and set expectations for new feature delivery.
  • Engage in daily scrum meetings, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support all departments with product-related inquiries and needs.
  • Organize and conduct customer focus groups.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Product Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a software Product Manager role.
  • Certification as an Agile or Scrum Product Owner is preferred.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Aha Product development software is a plus.
  • Ability to create clear and detailed technical requirement specifications.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to foster effective working relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in technical documentation, including developer-ready specifications and end-user training materials.
  • Proven track record in leading product strategy meetings and executing product plans.
  • Experience in managing Business unit P&L.
  • Competence in product pricing strategy, competitive analysis, and statistical evaluation.
  • Ability to lead customer focus groups effectively.
  • Experience in developing product specifications for software features.
  • Knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in creating product roadmaps and managing product backlogs.
  • Familiarity with roadmap scoring and tracking tools.
  • Understanding of quality assurance methodologies.
  • Participation in product design reviews.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
