About the Role:

This 90-day contract position comes with a weekly salary of $2,062.48. We seek a candidate with at least two years of recent experience in a Step Down Unit setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
- Facilitate effective communication among healthcare team members to advance patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.
