Job Summary

The Clinical Resource Nurse plays a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality patient care in the Recovery Room department at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of clinical procedures and protocols.

Essential Functions
  1. Demonstrate expertise in clinical practice and serve as a resource to colleagues, patients, families, and other customers.
  2. Take a leadership role in promoting Patient and Family-Centered Care.
  3. Collaborate directly with hospital coordinators and physicians to coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  4. Establish individualized patient care plans, incorporating assessment data, nursing diagnoses, and relevant information.
Additional Requirements

This role requires:

  • A valid RN license in South Dakota.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a similar setting.
