Responsibilities

Team Rehabilitation is in search of a friendly and dynamic individual to serve as the essential first point of contact within our clinic.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy towards patients and be dedicated to assisting, accommodating, and supporting their success in therapy.


Key Responsibilities:
Welcome patients warmly and assist them in completing necessary documentation.

Facilitate seamless communication among patients, healthcare providers, and staff, ensuring follow-ups are conducted as needed.

Manage complex scheduling to ensure patients receive the appropriate number of therapy visits, coordinating with therapists and staff as necessary.
Assist patients with inquiries related to insurance, verifying and explaining benefits, and obtaining required authorizations.
Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical and billing system, including any billing modifications, and follow up for additional information when necessary.
Collect copayments efficiently and professionally, issuing receipts and managing billing tasks.
Input data from in-house research accurately, as this information is vital for assessing clinic performance.

Support clinic operations by preparing management reports, inputting research data, and maintaining clinic supplies and equipment.

Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies.

Additional Duties:

The Patient Care Administrative Specialist must excel at multitasking in a fast-paced environment while managing daily reports and responsibilities.

Report directly to the clinic director and undertake any additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a patient-focused healthcare role is advantageous but not mandatory
Experience in customer service roles is also beneficial
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
Basic computer proficiency is required
