Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Stanford Health Care. As a key member of our Clinical Nutrition Team, you will provide compassionate, safe, and high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess, diagnose, and develop nutrition interventions for patients.
  • Use the Scope of Dietetics Practice Framework (SODPF) to determine scope of practice and provide evidence-based nutrition care.
  • Function independently at the competent to proficient level to provide nutrition care to patients, including complex patient types.
  • Counsel and educate patients, public, hospital/clinic and medical staff, and physicians on nutrition-related topics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or nutrition-related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Dietetics.
  • Two (2) years of work experience as a clinical dietitian AND at least one (1) specialty certification granted by the Commission on Dietetic Registration Board, Certified Nutrition Support Specialist (CNSC) or Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).
