Key Responsibilities

The Customer Service Account Executive is pivotal in creating a positive first impression and providing exceptional service throughout the customer journey.

Job Summary
  • Welcome and engage with customers, initiating service requests for repairs.
  • Accurately gather customer details, document requests, and prepare detailed estimates.
  • Coordinate and schedule work in collaboration with the service team.
  • Oversee the relocation and assessment of warranty components for disposal or shipping.
  • Revise annual warranty repair documentation.
  • Manage warranty submissions effectively.
  • Maintain clear communication with shop management and collaborate on problem-solving.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their repairs at all times.
  • Open and close service orders, input additional work requirements, verify warranty coverage, and utilize established systems and processes.
  • Ensure accurate data entry on all service orders, focusing on the precision of all information and codes entered into the system.
  • Collect purchase order details, warranty information, and customer payments.
  • Exercise sound judgment to uphold a safe and organized work environment.
  • Take initiative in addressing new and varied requests while exploring opportunities for added value.
  • Foster personal and professional growth within the role.
  • Perform additional duties as needed, including reviewing non-proprietary orders and assisting with parts inquiries and payment processing.
Qualifications

Job Requirements

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in a service advisory role is preferred, or at least one year of related experience in a repair environment. Technical knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory. Prior customer service experience is essential.

Skills: Must demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to safety at all times. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with strong listening abilities. Good customer service aptitude is essential. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Job Conditions

Physical: This role involves sitting, typing, and using a 10-key, as well as walking and navigating stairs. Occasional lifting and maneuvering around heavy-duty vehicles is required. Extensive use of telephones and computer keyboards is necessary.

Environmental: Primarily indoors with occasional outdoor responsibilities. May involve transporting documents between locations in varying weather conditions. Some noise may be encountered while visiting other departments.

Hours: Standard business hours.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
