Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience working as a bartender, server, or manager in a restaurant environment and be able to lead by example. Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies when necessary
  • Creating drink and food menus that appeal to our diverse customer base
  • Determining employee schedules to ensure optimal coverage
  • Ensuring the bar is well-stocked and clean at all times
  • Tracking customer behavior and sales trends to inform menu development and marketing strategies
  • Maintaining accurate records of finances and monitoring costs to optimize profitability
  • Maintaining documentation of drink recipes and procedures
  • Overseeing planning for special events and promotions
  • Delegating tasks effectively to staff members
  • Selecting and purchasing liquor and other supplies
  • Selecting music, booking bands, and providing input on décor and marketing initiatives
  • Initiating and maintaining relationships with vendors
  • Utilizing point-of-sale tracking technology to streamline operations

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • A high school degree or equivalent; or relevant work experience
  • Legally be able to serve alcohol
  • Be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • 1+ years of experience working in a restaurant environment
  • A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Physical ability to stand and move during shifts, bend and kneel through shifts, and carry 25 or more pounds of supplies
  • Pass a criminal background check
