Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee order management processes, including scope, pricing, scheduling, and maintaining relationships with Builders, ensuring effective communication with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Strive to align customer needs with the operational efficiencies of our internal teams, optimizing resources while meeting client expectations.
  • Conduct thorough price and scope evaluations for each project to guarantee alignment between the quote and the finalized order, ensuring all modifications are accurately documented.
  • Proactively manage project changes, ensuring timely responses and comprehensive communication regarding any alterations. Additionally, work to enhance profit margins on change orders through effective pricing strategies and negotiations.
  • Support fellow Project Coordinators in processing orders to facilitate timely project screening and acceptance.
  • Facilitate project meetings with Builders and Nucor personnel to ensure alignment and progress on all initiatives.

At Nucor, safety is paramount. Candidates must exhibit a strong commitment to implementing and maintaining safety protocols, practices, and standards consistently.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of construction documentation.
  • Experience in metal building projects, including detailing, design, estimating, project coordination, or quality assurance.
  • Background in customer service roles.
