We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. As a key member of our Patient Accounts team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of medical claims.
Key Responsibilities- Claims Processing: Utilize Epic PB Resolute and other electronic medical billing systems to process and manage medical claims, ensuring timely and accurate submission to payors.
- Denial Management: Research and resolve denied claims, identifying trends and implementing process improvements to minimize future denials.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, ensuring accurate claim submission and minimizing rejections.
- Claim Edits: Review and edit claims for accuracy and completeness, ensuring clean claim submission and minimizing rejections.
- Transaction History: Track claim submission and payor response, identifying trends and implementing process improvements to optimize revenue cycle performance.
- Experience: 3+ years of Epic PB Resolute experience required.
- Skills: Proficiency with Epic, Microsoft Word, Excel, and other electronic data processing systems.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
