We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a CVICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and delegate tasks to non-licensed personnel as appropriate.
- Conduct cardiac monitoring, identify dysrhythmias, and treat accordingly.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, evaluate, and revise patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, and facilitate discharge planning.
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care setting.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
