About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art, 113-bed community hospital that offers a wide range of surgical services, including general surgery, behavioral health, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment, adhering to aseptic surgical techniques.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, ensuring the smooth execution of operations.
  • Transport patients and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull with 30 pounds of force, and perform other physical demands of the role.
