About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, ensuring a clean and safe space for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care, adhering to aseptic techniques and protocols.
  • Operate and maintain various types of equipment used in the operating room, ensuring proper function and safety.
  • Transport patients and equipment as needed, utilizing proper lifting and transferring techniques.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain knowledge of surgical procedures and best practices.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
