Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain aseptic surgical environments, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, providing support and expertise as needed.
- Operate and maintain various types of equipment used in the operating room, including surgical instruments, anesthesia machines, and patient monitoring systems.
- Transport patients and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to hospital protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull with 30 pounds of force, and perform other physical demands of the role.
