About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Operating Officer to join our client's leadership team. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, implementing scalable processes, and establishing a data-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead and mentor a team of 4-6 direct reports, including Field Operations, Sales/Marketing, HR, and Internal Operations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and communication
  • Implement sustainable, scalable processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Evaluate and build integration plans for potential acquisitions and new ventures
  • Establish and maintain a data-driven culture, including identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and making data-driven decisions
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a VP of Operations or COO in a construction company, preferably in the utilities or telecom sector
  • Track record of growing a company from $60-90M to $150-250M in revenue
  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on developing and empowering teams
  • Financial leadership experience, including P&L ownership and a deep understanding of EBITDA and bottom-line growth
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including acquiring and integrating companies
  • Proactive approach, with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
