Job Title: Early Head Start Enrollment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Head Start Enrollment Specialist to join our team at the Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana. As a key member of our Family Service Team, you will play a critical role in implementing systems for planning, record-keeping, reporting, and monitoring of all aspects of the CCNELA-EHS program related to Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Eligibility, and Attendance (ERSEA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and data enter applications for enrollment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter health documents, including physicals, immunizations, and disability information.
  • Support family service advocates to ensure full enrollment and maintenance throughout the year.
  • Collect, enter, report, and maintain data, records, and reports related to ERSEA.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of Head Start Performance Standards and related regulations.
  • Develop and implement agency-wide recruitment planning.
  • Lead the annual review and revision of selection criteria.
  • Foster community partnerships to support recruitment of high-need families.
  • Develop recordkeeping and reporting procedures for ERSEA.
  • Complete monthly enrollment reports and other required submissions.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma and two years' experience in Early/Head Start, monitoring, and reporting program outcomes.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to set priorities.
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to obtain Family Service Credential Certification.
Working Conditions:
  • May require lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Travel for conferences, meetings, and other duties may be required.
  • Some exposure to communicable diseases.
  • Evenings and weekend work may be required for meetings and community events.
