We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Loan Servicing Representative to join our esteemed team at MDC Holdings, Inc./Richmond American Homes. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring the effective management of loan servicing tasks.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Loan Servicing Representative, your duties will include:
1. Timely setup and management of tax and insurance records for mortgage loans.
2. Accurate posting and reconciliation of all cash transactions within the loan servicing system.
3. Preparation of payoff and assumption statements as needed, adhering to state and agency guidelines.
4. Collection of overdue mortgage payments and management of bankruptcy and foreclosure processes.
5. Reporting and remittance of funds to investors in accordance with their specifications.
6. Coordination with supervisors for data transfer during servicing sales.
7. Oversight of loan servicing file management and documentation.
8. Effective communication with customers, investors, and third-party agencies.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A High School Diploma.
- 6 months to 1 year of general office experience.
- Previous experience in loan servicing is advantageous.
- At least 1 year of collections experience and 2 years in foreclosure processes.
- A minimum of 1-2 years in mortgage banking and 6 months in customer service.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Technical knowledge of relevant laws regarding collections, foreclosures, and bankruptcies.
- Familiarity with CPI systems is preferred.
