The Senior Director, Loan Agency Relationship Manager works in our Loan Agency department and manages client relationships and daily administration of assigned Loan Agency accounts. Serve as the main point of contact with the borrower, lenders, professionals, and other internal and external service partners. Manage daily administration of assigned transactions, including the delivery of exceptional service to all parties and ensuring all internal controls are met. The Senior Director will also manage, train, and develop a team of Loan Agency Relationship Managers.
The salary range for this position is between $137,000 - $159,000, depending on level of experience.
This position can be fully remote.
Key Responsibilities- Create trusted relationships, mentor, train, set career development goals, and conduct quarterly performance evaluations for direct reports.
- Be prepared and proactive in understanding your direct reports' duties, responsibilities, and performance throughout the year so you are able to assist, when needed, to ensure your team's duties and responsibilities are being completed and all expectations met.
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performers and high morale.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all transactions and deal-related documents for assigned accounts.
- Responsible for the administration of assigned accounts in accordance with the terms of the related documents. This includes all payments, notices, compliance deliverables, and other duties assigned in the documents.
- Research and resolve issues related to administration and client service in connection with assigned accounts.
- Review, comment, and negotiate transaction agreements for assigned accounts.
- Work with clients, attorneys, financial advisors, lenders, service providers - both internal and external - to structure and close assigned transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients and parties, both internal and external, to ensure all have an exceptional experience.
- Manage relationships, cultivating current and prospective clients and referral sources to uncover opportunities and potential sources of new business.
- Comprehend and maintain internal controls and work with management to identify opportunities to enhance our control environment.
- Ensure procedures, process manuals, and training materials for the Loan Agency Relationship Management team are kept current.
- Provide coverage and support to the team as a whole when needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Bachelor's degree required. Graduate level degree, such as a J.D. or MBA, preferred.
- 10+ years' experience in finance, capital markets, or law firm.
- 3-5 years' experience managing people.
- Proven ability to coach, train, and motivate employees.
- Prior experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting legal documents.
- Deadline-driven and highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and intuition, and the ability to communicate with external and internal parties in a responsive, friendly, professional, and proactive approach.
