Job Summary:

Leidos is seeking an experienced Executive Administrator to support a senior Government officer. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, forward-thinking individual with executive-level experience, familiarity with Government and Front Office operations, and the ability to function independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative or executive assistance for senior leadership
  • Review and prepare official correspondence, briefings, and reports
  • Coordinate and oversee policy development, implementation, and compliance activities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and directives related to policy and oversight functions
  • Support meeting, conference, workshop, and training events, including drafting agendas, minutes, and other documentation
  • Provide travel coordination and logistics
  • Manage the development of documents and maintain configuration control using DoD CIO standard templates, while coordinating inputs from multiple subject matter experts
  • Support the correspondence management process, including all aspects of mail operations and electronic workflow tools (e.g., Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS))
  • Manage senior executive and directorate level calendars and ensure that background/read ahead materials are prepared in support of upcoming meetings and activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience
  • Active TS/SCI DoD clearance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Suite tools
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience on Service/Department of Defense Headquarters staff
  • Previous experience with Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS)
  • Previous experience as Executive Officer and/or position delivering direct support to senior executive staff
