KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assistant to join our team in Raleigh and Durham offices.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Clinical Assistant who can accurately room patients, assist with phone duties, and ensure seamless communication between physicians, mid-levels, and nurses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately monitor and record vital signs
  • Transcribe medications, take medical histories, and initiate neurology visits
  • Report changes and concerns to nurses after rooming patients
  • Maintain schedules and keep workflow going between healthcare professionals
  • Perform phone duties, including prescription refills, records, and reports
  • Explain treatment procedures to patients and prepare them for examinations
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of computer systems
  • Current certification or registry in Medical Assisting (CMA or RMA)
  • Sensitivity to patient problems and concerns
  • Current BLS certification
