We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead Technician - Medical Scribe Specialist to join our team at North Carolina Retina Associates. In this critical role, you will be responsible for assisting the physician in the operating room, triaging patients, and coordinating surgery schedules.

Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Clinical Lead Technician - Medical Scribe Specialist to work in one of our many clinics located throughout North Carolina. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Aiding the physician during surgeries and procedures
  • Triage patients and coordinate their care
  • Assisting with surgery scheduling and reviewing medical charts
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 2 years of experience working as a technician in an Ophthalmology office
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with MDI Intellechart or similar electronic health record systems
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including medical and dental insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
