At Ansys, we're seeking a highly skilled License Compliance Sales Specialist II to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying and developing opportunities to generate business in a geographical territory through License Compliance (LC) cases.

The successful candidate will guide the sales team and channel partners through the license compliance process, conducting direct commercial negotiations with CxOs and VPs, including closing and securing a purchase order.

This role requires strong Sales and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a large cross-functional team across legal, sales, channels, external legal counsels, third-party auditors, and LC service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Recover revenue lost to unauthorized license use by supporting the protection and enforcement of the company's Intellectual Property Rights.
  • Negotiate large License Compliance settlements directly with senior managers and executives.
  • Build a cross-functional team to manage license reviews, working closely with field sales, channel partners, internal legal team, internal licensing consulting team, and third-party audit firms to negotiate a commercial resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of work experience in a Sales or License Compliance role (software audits) with a multi-national software company.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English and the local language of the territory.
