Position Overview

Our Customer Sales & Service Representatives (CSSRs) are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and consistently deliver outstanding customer experiences. To excel in this position, you must be passionate and customer-focused while serving both commercial and residential clients in the green industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all SiteOne clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and needs, whether in person, over the phone, or through online platforms.
  • Respond to and resolve more complex questions and issues based on your experience and product knowledge.
  • Prepare and organize inventory orders for customer pickup or delivery.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to enhance sales with existing and potential customers.
  • Collaborate with branch leadership to implement new technologies and processes that positively impact business performance.
  • Support merchandising efforts, manage inventory, and perform other store tasks while ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new associates as needed.
  • Guide and mentor less experienced staff to meet customer service and satisfaction goals.
Desired Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in the green industry or knowledge of landscape, nursery, or irrigation products.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a retail or wholesale environment.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Ability to think quickly and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in inventory management is a plus.
  • Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
