We are looking for an early-career Program Planning professional to support our mission as the Integrated Program Planner for the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Program.

This role will involve collaboration across multiple sites and various SMD programs as necessary.

You will engage with Engineering, Business Operations, and Program Management, providing updates to senior management as needed.

Your responsibilities will include creating a compliant Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that accurately reflects the contractual scope and resources required for program execution.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

1) Develop and maintain the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring alignment with the Integrated Master Plan (IMP).

2) Ensure integration between the IMS and the Program Summary Master Schedule, along with any supplemental schedules.

3) Conduct critical path and schedule risk analyses as necessary.

4) Provide planning support to Production Operations and the Master Program Scheduler during monthly management cycles, ensuring schedule accuracy.

5) Perform integrity checks on the schedule as required.

6) Generate and present IMS reports and metrics as needed.

7) Communicate schedule-related information to both internal and external stakeholders.

8) Ensure adherence to Lockheed Martin's Corporate Program Performance Management and Program Planning policies.

9) Support all phases of proposals from submission, including SOW, CWBS, and IMP task traceability.

Typically, candidates in this position possess 3-6 years of relevant professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a planning or program management discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in delivering presentations to team members and project groups.
  • Familiarity with Schedule Performance Management techniques.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a planning or program management discipline.
  • Experience with network scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera).
  • Knowledge of Critical Path Scheduling methodology.
  • Experience in Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance.
  • Understanding of Integrated Master Plan (IMP) concepts.
  • Familiarity with Production, Sustainment, and Depot Operations.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management.
  • Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development.
