As part of our mission, we are seeking an early-career Program Planning professional to join our team as an Integrated Program Planner supporting the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Program.

In this role, based in a dynamic environment, you will contribute to execution efforts across various sites and other related programs.

Your responsibilities will include interfacing with Engineering, Business Operations, and Program Management, as well as providing briefings to senior management as necessary.

You will also be tasked with developing a compliant Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that accurately reflects the contractual scope and resources required for program execution.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

1) Assist in the development and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring alignment with the Integrated Master Plan (IMP).

2) Maintain integration between the IMS and the Program Summary Master Schedule, along with any supplemental schedules.

3) Conduct critical path and schedule risk analyses as needed.

4) Provide planning support to Production Operations and the Master Program Scheduler as part of monthly management cycles, ensuring schedule accuracy.

5) Perform schedule integrity checks as required.

6) Generate and present IMS reports and metrics as necessary.

7) Communicate schedule-related information to both internal and external stakeholders.

8) Ensure adherence to Lockheed Martin's Corporate Program Performance Management and Program Planning policies.

9) Support all phases of proposals from submission, including SOW, CWBS, and IMP task tracing.

Our professionals in this role typically possess 3-6 years of relevant experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a planning or program management discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in delivering presentations to team members and project groups.
  • Familiarity with Schedule Performance Management techniques.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a planning or program management discipline.
  • Experience with network scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera).
  • Knowledge of Critical Path Scheduling methodology.
  • Experience in Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance.
  • Understanding of Integrated Master Plan (IMP) principles.
  • Familiarity with Production, Sustainment, and Depot Operations.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management.
  • Experience in Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development.
Additional Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros and VBA.
  • Exposure to Schedule Risk Assessment processes/tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
