Position Overview:

Join Lockheed Martin as a Senior Project Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in the AMMM Development/Production Project Engineering team, supporting various aircraft platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Your duties will encompass:

  • Overseeing a complex portfolio of system and technical development from initial concept through design, implementation, testing, manufacturing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Ensuring alignment with engineering strategies, assessing technical feasibility, and managing associated risks.
  • Leading planning and execution efforts across engineering teams to fulfill contract obligations, including cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for program management and senior leadership regarding program execution.
  • Innovating and standardizing processes to enhance agility and flexibility within the team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in aircraft design, testing, integration, or sustainment.
  • A solid understanding of engineering principles.
Preferred Skills:

  • Background in Software, Systems, or Aircraft.
  • Familiarity with ServiceFLO.
  • Knowledge of EVMS or Cost/Schedule Principles.
  • Experience in Proposal Development.
  • Understanding of Contract Language.
  • Skills in Technical Supplier/Sub-Contract Management.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Experience in coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Risk/Opportunity Identification.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
Security Clearance:

This role requires a government security clearance; therefore, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for consideration.

Work Environment:

This position allows for a hybrid work schedule, combining remote work with on-site responsibilities at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
