About the Role:

The University of Washington is seeking a highly skilled Associate Director for Continuous Quality Improvement to join their team. This role will play a critical part in supporting the core value of increasing access to high-quality, equitable learning environments for children, youth, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and strategic thinking to align learnings from Washington state system evaluation efforts to professional development initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive professional development plans in partnership with external partners, leveraging data from the WA Workforce Research and Landscape Analysis.
  • Support the strategic connections between professional development and Early Achievers with internal team members and external partners.
  • Manage content development projects across coaching and professional development initiatives for Washington, including project management and oversight.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Services, Education and Adult Learning, or Public Policy, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field related to early learning, childcare quality, and coaching.
  • Significant experience in leading a team and overseeing staff development and performance management.
  • Knowledge of childcare quality research and experience in Early Childhood Education, Professional Development, and Coaching.
